IT Support Specialist (Medical Training)

Fast growing Urgent Care company is seeking an experienced IT professional with knowledge of training and support of physician management/EMR.

 

Candidate MUST have:
  1. Experience with eClinical Works EMR software
  2. Windows Server administration experience
  3. At least 2 years in a healthcare setting
  4. Good working knowledge of medical terminology
  5. Public speaking ability with excellent customer service skills
  6. Associates Degree plus clinical experince or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Training and support of systems designed to clinical practice EMR/practice management objectives
  • Maintain, optimize and support PM, EMR, patient portal, e-prescribing, and secure messaging software
  • Participate in the testing, implementation and on going support of all clinical system upgrades
  • Serve as liaison to users and the IT department/Help Desk
  • Developing and delivering initial and on-going employee education for new and existing systems
  • Configure, maintain, and support PBX and digital phones

 

Location: Atlanta, GA
Full-Time

SmartCare Urgent Care is a walk-in medical clinic with several convenient centers in and around the metro-Atlanta area. SmartCare centers are open 7 days a week and no appointment is necessary to see a doctor.
